Terms and Conditions

The Golden Ticket Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is open to individuals who are residents of Australia and comply with the laws and regulations of Australia. Employees of Sydney Fringe and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway.

To enter the Giveaway, participants must follow @sydneyfringe on the social media platform specified in the Giveaway announcement. Participants must also tag a friend who is a Fringe enthusiast or a potential Fringe enthusiast and shares the Giveaway post on their stories.

Or the participant can enter by signing up for The Sydney Fringe mailing list.

The Giveaway will close at 11:59 PM on the 9th of June 2023  AEDT. Entries received after this time will not be considered.

The winners of the Giveaway will be selected randomly and announced on the 15th of June 2023. Each winner will receive a double ticket valid for the 2023 Sydney Fringe Festival. The total number of tickets awarded to each winner will not exceed 10 double tickets across the entire festival season. The total value of the tickets awarded to each winner will not exceed $1000 AUD.

The winners will be notified via direct message on the social media platform used to enter the Giveaway. If a winner does not respond within 48 hours of being notified, an alternative winner may be selected.

The prize must be claimed and redeemed in accordance with the instructions provided by Sydney Fringe. Failure to claim the prize within the specified time period may result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternative winner may be selected.

Sydney Fringe reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Giveaway in whole or in part, for any reason, without prior notice. Sydney Fringe also reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these Terms and Conditions or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

Any personal information collected during the Giveaway will be handled in accordance with Sydney Fringe’s privacy policy and relevant privacy laws of Australia.

The Giveaway and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Giveaway shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with the social media platform used to promote the Giveaway.
