Sarah Belkner is a Sydney based singer, instrumentalist, songwriter, arranger, composer,musical director and studio producer.Sarah’s debut solo album ‘But You Are, But It Has’ (2017) made its way into the ears and hearts of delighted fans and critics. Produced by herself and husband engineer Richard Belkner it garnered Double J album of the week, the video for ‘Cellophane’ filmed in London by Brian Fairbarn & Karl Eccleston was premiered by Rolling Stone and her song 'Susanne' featured in a pivotal scene of ‘Offspring’.Her follow up album ‘The Apple’ is due for release in November. Belkner has become a revered touring musician/MD performing with many great artists including Missy Higgins, Neil Finn, Sarah Blasko, OLYMPIA, NGAIIRE and most recently as Musical Director to Tim Minchin of which the show 'BACK' received the Helpmann award in 2019 for best Contemporary Tour.She produced Missy Higgins single ‘Carry You’ written by Tim Minchin for the series ‘Upright’.She co-wrote and produced Brendan Maclean's debut album ‘And The Boyfriends’ (2019) which landed at #2 on the iTunes chart and produced Leah Flanagan’s album ‘Colour By Number’ (2020) named Double J album of the week.
