No Great Expectations

$29.00

26 - 30 Sep | 50 minutes Emerging Artist Sharehouse - The Office
SHOW IS RATED: M15+

We all have a favourite novel! Think of that book, the joy it makes you feel... then imagine a stage-full of idiots who have never read it, ruining it.

Improv comedians, Room for IMPROVment are in Sydney to hilariously ruin the literary canon one book at a time.

With only YOU to guide them, they will try and recreate some of the world's greatest novels on stage having NEVER read them before. They'll make everything up on the spot in a chaotic hour of romance, drama & suspense. Their adaptations will be anything but faithful, so have no great expectations, but each story is one that'll leave you laughing long after the final chapter.

Dickens, Austen, Orwell, no author is safe in this off-the-wall interactive piece of comedy that'll leave you wishing your favourite novels were usually this damn funny!

Featuring a new piece of classic literature lovingly bastardised each night:
TUESDAY: Treasure Island
WEDNESDAY: Nineteen Eighty Four
THURSDAY: A Christmas Carol
FRIDAY: Sense & Sensibility
SATURDAY: Frankenstein
