To win at comedy in such an oversaturated market, you need a point of difference. Luckily Jamal Abdul's and Harry Jun's points of difference are congenital. Jamal and Harry will spend 30 minutes each trialing new jokes about it all.

About Jamal Abdul:
Born into an ethnically diverse family to his Italian mother and Arab father Jamal, at three months old was diagnosed with a rare eye condition which is the cause of his blindness. From the very beginning Jamal was an outsider observing the world and the people around him from a perspective not many would share with him. It’s his I’m not weird, your weird attitude that makes his stand up comedy performances so unique.

Reviews

‘I Grew Here’ is a show I’m so grateful to have witnessed. Harry Jun is so good, he makes comedy look easy. Effortless and wholesome in all the right places, ‘I Grew Here’ is real, raw, relatable, and sincerely delightful. ★★★★★ Stephanie Chin, Lilithia Reviews Lilithia.net
